AI-assisted proposal writing feature
I had one idea that could make the proposal creation process even more powerful. It would be interesting to consider adding an AI-assisted proposal writing feature. For example, designers could input: Project scope Pricing Client details Deliverables And the AI could help generate a structured proposal draft, including clear descriptions, timelines, and positioning language, which the designer can then refine and personalize. This could: Save time Reduce proposal-writing stress Help designers articulate their value more confidently Especially support those who struggle with writing I feel this would align really well with Formlio’s goal of simplifying proposal creation. Just a thought from my side, excited to see how the product evolves!
Price Quote Block: Service & Pricing Library
Implement a "Price & Service Library" within the Price Quote block to save standard services and costs for future use. This allows for storing frequently used items and inserting them into new proposals with one click, eliminating the need to re-enter details manually.
Document Preview: Mobile, Tablet & Desktop
Add one-click buttons to instantly preview the proposal in Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop sizes. Currently, users must manually resize their browser window to check responsiveness of the document.
Process Block
A new block designed to visually present step-by-step processes or workflows. Similar layout capabilities to the Timeline block (horizontal or vertical display) but without temporal data such as dates, durations, or Gantt chart functionality. Ideal for showcasing methodologies, project phases, or onboarding steps.
Media Block: Autoplay & Loop Video Settings
Enable "Loop" and "Autoplay" toggles for videos in the Media Block.
Automatic Expiry Reminders
Request to implement automated email alerts that trigger when a proposal is approaching its validity limit (e.g., a "10 days left" reminder). This reduces administrative friction and helps increase conversion rates by creating a natural sense of urgency for the client.
Proposal Expiration / Validity Period
Implementation of a validity period would allow users to set a specific timeframe (e.g., 30 days) for a proposal. Once this period passes, the document becomes inactive, ensuring that all accepted proposals align with current business terms and availability.
Conditional Add-ons Based on Package Selected
Allow users to configure optional add-ons that are shown or hidden depending on which pricing package the client selects. This enables package-specific upsells and relevant optional services, so clients only see add-ons that apply to their chosen tier.
Embed Code for Media (Virtual Tours, 3D Models, etc.)
Support for custom HTML embed codes and iframes in the Embed block, allowing users to embed any third-party content such as virtual tours (Matterport, Kuula), 3D models (Sketchfab), interactive maps, calendly widgets, and other media that provides an embed code, beyond the currently supported platform-specific URLs.

Introduce a set of pre-designed "Image + Text" layout blocks users can drop into a document to speed up creation.
Borders and line breaks / Cards
Probs already an option for this, so sorry if I missed it. It would be great to have a border or line break option (either horizontal or vertical) to define the columns and rows or blocks of text.

Customizable Templates
Implementation of a library of pre-designed and customizable templates. This allows users to select a layout that immediately fits specific needs, rather than building the entire structure manually with blocks. This provides more flexibility and options for starting interactive documents.
Logo upload
Currently, client branding is typically added using standard image blocks within the content. To further personalize proposals, a dedicated method to feature the client's logo or company’s logo prominently in the document would be ideal.
Custom Fonts Support
Add the ability to upload custom font files (such as .ttf, .otf, or .woff). This allows users to apply proprietary brand fonts to their proposals that are not available in the standard Google Font library.
Bubble Video Messages
Record short video messages directly inside a proposal, so you can explain key sections, add personal context, and guide clients through the document without needing a separate Loom or email.
CRM Dashboard & Pipeline View
Implement a dashboard view to track proposal stages (e.g., Sent, Viewed, Accepted) and organize documents by year or fiscal period to better visualize the active sales pipeline.
Mobile Responsiveness & Optimization
Enhance the mobile version of the proposal view to ensure all blocks and layout elements are fully responsive. This includes optimizing column stacking, font sizing, and padding to provide a seamless viewing experience on smartphones and tablets.
UI Theme - Light Mode Support
Implement a "Light Mode" or theme toggle for the platform interface to allow users to switch between Dark and Light modes based on their preference.
